The products featured in this web site are manufactured by Munck Cranes A/S ("Munck Crane") of Bergen, Norway. For 80 years the Munck name has been known internationally as a leading supplier of hoists and crane components.

Over 35 years of that experience includes the United States market with over 6,000 installations in this country. Munck International Ltd. ("Munck International") is the distributor of Munck Crane components in the United States and is a independent subsidiary of American Crane & Equipment Corporation, known as ACECO, a manufacturer of high quality cranes and a member of the Crane Manufacturers Association of American ("CMAA").

In choosing to distribute Munck Crane components, Munck International drew on the experience of ACECO. In more than 35 years of using Munck Crane components, ACECO has not only found them to be especially reliable, both in terms of ratings and quality, but also the components of choice of the majority of its customers.

All Munck Crane equipment is designed and manufactured to meet United States regulations including OSHA, NEC, CMAA and Hoist Manufacturers Institute (HMI). Munck Crane components are ISO

Crane components reflect accurately the critical distinctions between CMAA Classes C and D and HMI duty classes H3 and H4. This contrasts with components from some other manufacturers, who sometimes suggest that their components are Class D or H4 capable, when they more accurately should be rated Class C or H3.

Munck Crane, at ACECO’s urging, has developed a new line of hoists with traditional Munck Crane quality and reliability, and attractive prices, which are featured in this web site. The modular design of the hoists allows them to be installed in many different mounting configurations, with numerous optional features and accessories. All equipment can be easily customized for most applications, including explosion proof environments.
